Here's the latest Viking Boats of Ullapool creation, an Iain Oughtred-designed Arctic Tern, the 17ft version, after being turned. and at the long process of fitting out begins.

My Favourite Boat of 2010




Now that is what I call a boat. Anyone guess? Rhymes with Dumbo? Comes from a little saintly town in the West Country? God I wish I could build boats like that...

  3. I'm ready, it's just that discerning customers who value these kind of boats seem to have high tailed it to the hills until they feel the financial climate is right to indulge in a traditional wooden boat.
